Cough. Sniff. Blech.

Well, I'm staying home sick from school... Again. This is my fifth time this year, I don't understand it. I'm kind of annoyed because I had a French test today, and, a show run through for our school musical, Once Upon a Mattress. It was
recently done on Broadway with Sarah Jessica Parker cast as the lead, Winnefred.  It's super cheesy, but fun anyway. This weekend is our tech rehearsal, and it is going to take ALL DAY. Yesterday, our director had a silent meltdown because everyone had forgotten their lines, and no one had committed to their character yet. The show is in a week and I am starting to freak out. The last time I freaked out for a show was when I was four and it was my first tap recital ever. I mean at this point, we should have the show down really well and know everything.  Oh well, I guess it will all get sorted out.

I've been watching Top Chef reruns all day, I love Ryan, but now its doing that show Workout... which I can't stand. So I read People magazine. Did you know that Miley Cyrus got 50 Million dollars from her most recent tour. I can't believe people would actually pay to go to a concert just to listen to that nasal voice. I don't pride myself in being a fabulous singer, but I can tell when someone isn't. Also... didn't she just do a nude photo shoot? And  she always claims to be so down to Earth...

Yours, sickly
Hannah

Dress of The Day

I found it. This dress is absolutely gorgeous. My fashion life currently revolves around the colours yellow and orange and maybe a little bit of red. I love the granulated colour. And dip-dyed clothing is in right now, so I'm actually on trend with the rest of the world and not just myself for once. The belt is also wonderful, the way its satin ties in with the dress. Its Alice and Olivia, and I want it for my friend's bat-mitzvah this summer, because it is absolutely perfect. The theme for the party afterwards is summer, yellow and happiness. A little cheesy, I know, but still sweet.
Oh, I also jsut discovered this artist called Madita. She was on the iTunes download of the week a little while ago. I didn't really like the song they had, at first. I suppose its a bit better now. but I finally convinced myself to checkout the album. And it is fabulous. If you liked Fiest (from the iPod Nano commercial) then you will adore this lady.

I also just went to our school's Senior Showcase. Its where all the seniors who are doing performing arts put on a show, showcasing themselves. It was wonderful because I've known these people for ages and I know how great they all are at performing. Anyway, I was depressed for ages afterwards because it was basically their graduation. Ugh. Two days later and still sad. Oh well, There's No Business Like Show Business! (Annie Get Your Gun by Irving Berlin and another show I was just in!)

Yours Sniffily,
Hannah

Stella Florals

Florals have to be one of my least favorite fashion "things." They're the type of thing my great grandmother wore while she was dusting of her little china animals. But Stella McCartney has some in her latest ready to wear collection that are adorable. They're Stella!

Sorry 'bout all the "Stella" jokes. Totally cheesy but I love it. I hate the styling, her shoes are hideous, but love the sleeves, AND the print. Gorgeous silhoutte! Very typical though, but very McCartney. And the dress below is adorable as well, even though it clearly doesn't fit. The bag, is okay, kind of Kate Spade inspired, but she doesn't do florals.
LOVE IT!

Mreow! cat fight!

OH MY GOD! Dolce and Gabbana's new dresses at Bergdorfs are ferosh! Literally! Usually, I just dismiss animal prints as something that shouldn't even be considered , but something about the silhouettes on these just works.

This dress is adorable, even with the little napkin think on her left hip. It looks like a really depressed bow... okay that was a weird analogy.

This dress is way different from the first one and so not something I would wear, but I suppose its okay. A little to clubby for me... and not quite fashion. Shorter, much shorter, and with skinny jeans would be great!
This collection of bags is called Animalier Collection. Starting to see a common theme? Anyway, I like the cheetah on the clothes better than the bags. So glad its not real. Knowing designers, it easily could have been! I think fur is murder, I mean, if people didn't want the clothes, the animal would never have died

Tory Burch..... !

Tory Burch, points for the whole staying in a certain area and style... but come on. Just look at these,

Have we not seen them on every fifth person's feet? Do we not each own a pair ourselves? Are we not all sick and tired of them? Yes, yes and yes. Maybe... just maybe she is starting to change it up a bit.
Pointy Toes! At last, something slightly different... Although it still has that obnoxious logo stuck right in the middle of the toes. My mum says they're still boring but I disagree. I love all the detail, especially the tiny lines going up and down the shoe, but it's not for people with big feet, it'll just make them look bigger. They also look super comfy.

Yours repetitively,
Hannah
