Breast Cancer Research! Support or suffer!

You know I don't mean it! Tomorrow is our schools annual cancer walk. I wasn't there last year because I was in Japan, but its supposed to be really fun. To get in the spirit of things, I decided to do a piece on breast cancer in fashion.

For ages Coach has done these key-chains that I think are absolutely adorable, and they've also done a breast cancer ones. These are really cute. My favorite is the one on the left... although I wouldn't mind having the mobile charm!

I think that they're a really good way to advertise for breast cancer, especially because they are Coach. The one above is about $58 dollars. Kind of expensive? Yes. Totally worth it? Definitely.  Juicy Couture has also played its part, except 20% of the money earned from this shirt went to research funds. I bought this shirt, and so did my friend, after we saw it in some magazine. We both know people very close to us who went through treatment and survived so we thought we would help out. I seem to have lost mine however, which was quite sad for me to discover.  What's up with Renee in that picture she looks like she's gonna be sick. While smiling. And wearing Juicy.

Any way, got to go bake cookies for the walk tomorrow!

Yours excitedly,
Hannah

Cough. Sniff. Blech.

Well, I'm staying home sick from school... Again. This is my fifth time this year, I don't understand it. I'm kind of annoyed because I had a French test today, and, a show run through for our school musical, Once Upon a Mattress. It was
recently done on Broadway with Sarah Jessica Parker cast as the lead, Winnefred.  It's super cheesy, but fun anyway. This weekend is our tech rehearsal, and it is going to take ALL DAY. Yesterday, our director had a silent meltdown because everyone had forgotten their lines, and no one had committed to their character yet. The show is in a week and I am starting to freak out. The last time I freaked out for a show was when I was four and it was my first tap recital ever. I mean at this point, we should have the show down really well and know everything.  Oh well, I guess it will all get sorted out.

I've been watching Top Chef reruns all day, I love Ryan, but now its doing that show Workout... which I can't stand. So I read People magazine. Did you know that Miley Cyrus got 50 Million dollars from her most recent tour. I can't believe people would actually pay to go to a concert just to listen to that nasal voice. I don't pride myself in being a fabulous singer, but I can tell when someone isn't. Also... didn't she just do a nude photo shoot? And  she always claims to be so down to Earth...

Yours, sickly
Hannah

Dress of The Day

I found it. This dress is absolutely gorgeous. My fashion life currently revolves around the colours yellow and orange and maybe a little bit of red. I love the granulated colour. And dip-dyed clothing is in right now, so I'm actually on trend with the rest of the world and not just myself for once. The belt is also wonderful, the way its satin ties in with the dress. Its Alice and Olivia, and I want it for my friend's bat-mitzvah this summer, because it is absolutely perfect. The theme for the party afterwards is summer, yellow and happiness. A little cheesy, I know, but still sweet.
Oh, I also jsut discovered this artist called Madita. She was on the iTunes download of the week a little while ago. I didn't really like the song they had, at first. I suppose its a bit better now. but I finally convinced myself to checkout the album. And it is fabulous. If you liked Fiest (from the iPod Nano commercial) then you will adore this lady.

I also just went to our school's Senior Showcase. Its where all the seniors who are doing performing arts put on a show, showcasing themselves. It was wonderful because I've known these people for ages and I know how great they all are at performing. Anyway, I was depressed for ages afterwards because it was basically their graduation. Ugh. Two days later and still sad. Oh well, There's No Business Like Show Business! (Annie Get Your Gun by Irving Berlin and another show I was just in!)

Yours Sniffily,
Hannah
